Possible ‘Infinite’ Album Re-Release

The 1996 album entitled ‘Infinite’ by Eminem (Marshall Mathers) may possibly be re-released by Shady Records Inc. Long time friend of Mathers, Denaun Porter, helped produce the album. In a recent interview with “The Cypher”, Porter was asked if the album will ever be re-produced.

When asked he replied, “That might have a lot to do with the Bass Brothers.” The Bass Brothers, Mark and Jeff Bass, also helped with the producing the ‘Infinite’ album. “If they were to release that right now, they would have to pay me a grip. I got screwed around way early messing around with them dudes. I don’t know what they’re doing right now, but it seems like it’s something that should happen.”

Denaun states that while he would like a reissue, but would prefer to have Mather’s longtime friend and manager, Paul Rosenberg, to handle it. “Paul is more creative when it comes to how to do that stuff, if The Bass Brothers did it themselves, they would have to do it in a special way because that’s a special project. For whatever reason, a lot of these younger kids, I think they gravitate towards that retro sound. It was a dope album.”

There is no set date for this reissue, or a certainty it will happen. It would sure be a good thing for all of Eminem’s fans to get this album back in their hands.
