Every year, Six Flags hosts a “end of school” celebration for high school seniors. The overnight lasts from 10 P.M. until 4 A.M. Students are only allowed in on a school sanctioned bus with their chaperones, and it is suggested that they bring at least 40 students. The “Extreme Grad Nite” costs $60 and includes entry to the park at 9 P.M., all you can eat dinner in the Picnic Grove, free bus parking, a DJ and a dance floor, free tickets for the chaperones, a Grad Nite souvenir, and of course unlimited rides on all of the roller coasters throughout the night. MCHS seniors that were apart of Steering Committee throughout the last 4 years had the opportunity to attend this year’s celebration as well as to bring a 1 or 2 guests of their own. The “Grad Nite” took place last weekend on Saturday, May 19th and was a fun experience for all those that attended.
