Nathan Stevenson (Junior)

Reese Attar

Name: Nathan Stevenson

Year: Junior (Class of 2020)

Q: If you had the ability to hire anyone in the world to be your teacher, who would it be and why?

A: I would hire Steve Carell because he has a very effervescent personality, and he also is very funny. I’d never want to miss a class taught by him.

Q: What makes a good student? Do you categorize yourself as a good student?

A: Ultimately, what makes a good student is their internal drive to do their very best. It’s not about being better than others, it’s about being the best you can be. I do categorize myself as a good student because I really try my best.

Q: What makes a good teacher?

A: A good teacher will go through obstacles and do everything they can to meet their lesson goals. Some teachers just give busy work, and they don’t care about their student’s grades. Good teachers care about their students.

Q: If you were principal, what would be the first thing you’d change?

A: If I were principal, the first thing I would change is the starting and ending time of school. I’d feel less rushed all the time if school started at 8:30, rather than 7:25.

Q: What is your favorite part of the school day, and why?

A: I would say my two classes following lunch are my favorite because I am more awake and energetic. Also, both my seventh and eighth period teachers are very good at what they do.
