Nathan Jones
Nathan Jones is a Senior at Michigan City High School In Michigan City ,Indiana. He is a sports reporter for the Citizen newspaper. Nathan played football for his first three years of high school and he also does track. Nathan’s Junior year he had back surgery to correct the scoliosis that he had ,and due to this he does not play football anymore. This is his first year in the last nine years of not playing football due to his surgery. After he had his surgery he came out of the operating room two inches taller and has perfect posture due to the rods he now has on his spine. Now that he is no longer an athlete he plans to focus more on school and explore new things, now that sports are no longer a number one priority. His future plans after high school are to attend Purdue and study cyber security and computer sciences. Nathan is very good with computers and is very eager to learn about new technology and things in that field. Nathan is always up to date with new tech and this is what he spends his off time looking into. Some things he likes to do are watch football, workout, talk politics, and learn about computers. His favorite pro football team is the Pittsburgh Steelers and college team is Notre Dame. He likes to attend as many football games as he can in the fall. He is excited about writing for the MCHS Citizen this year.
