The Cityzen

Reagan Lowry
Reagan Lowry is a senior at Michigan City High School. She has been involved in many sports during her childhood; such as swimming, gymnastics, taekwondo, basketball, soccer, cross country and cheerleading. Once she found cheerleading, she found herself and one of her many passions. Reagan has actually competed on ESPN World Wide Sports at Disney World in Orlando four times for cheerleading. Once she made it to high school she was on the varsity cheerleading team and pursued that during her freshman and sophomore year. She did not go back to cheerleading her junior year, the love for the sport was not like it had been in the past. So she decided to venture out. Reagan has always had another side to her. A side only her family and close friends knew about. She has always had a passion for writing short stories. As a child she loved to write gory horror stories to frighten her sister. Reagan was drawn to the realm of monsters and the make believe. As she has gotten older, she has become more aware of some actual issues around her, and has felt that she has a voice that she wants to be heard through writing. Reagan never actually thought of pursuing writing until her final year at Michigan City High School. This is her first year on The Cityzen staff and is very excited for what it has in store for her.
