Farrah Goodall, Editor in Chief
Writing goes hand in hand with reading, one of Farrah Goodall’s favorite pastimes. She began reading at a young age and then continued on to strive and write like her favorite authors. Farrah began writing thinking of it only as fun and an escape from life, but soon realized that she could use her skills in a future career.
The first thing Farrah learned with writing is that a person can say a lot more with words of ink than words that are spoken. Channeling frustrations and coping with the roller coaster of life began to become easier after she realized how to use writing to say what she was thinking.
Besides being involved with newspaper, she also is a part of the girls' basketball team at MCHS. This year, Farrah has the opportunity to be editor-in-chief of the newspaper and senior captain of the basketball team and plans to use her leadership skills on and off the court. Farrah has participated in several summer camps where she was coaching young children on the basketball court. Basketball is not something she plans to use as her income in the future, but it is definitely one of her favorite extracurricular activities.
As a senior at MCHS, Farrah plans to attend either Purdue or New York University after graduation to major in Philosophy and minor in English to continue her passion for writing. After completing her bachelor's degree, she plans to further her education in law school. One of her major goals in life is to travel the world, practicing law, and writing about her experiences.
